Yamaha has launched his new scooter Yamaha Ray which it unveiled in Auto Expo 2012. Ray was unveiled by John Abraham but now at the launching time it is launched by Deepika Padukone. Yamaha Ray has been priced at Rs 46000/- (Ex Showroom Delhi).
Yamaha Ray is somewhat similar to Honda Dio it has heavy looks in both front and rear. Yamaha Ray has an engine displacement of 113cc with the engine type of 4 stroke, air cooled and 2 valve engine. Yamaha Ray has a maximum output of 7.1PS@7500rpm and maximum torque of 8.1Nm@5000rpm. It has both starting system kick and self start.
Yamaha Ray is beautifully designed especially for females. It has many unique features like its head light is v shaped giving it an elegant look with turn signals integrated with headlights only, it has bigger telescopic suspension for both stability and comfort ride even on rough roads, it has movable rear fender which moves with the rear tire preventing any cloth to get in to it, it also has a comfortable leg shield which are perfect for girls.
Yamaha Ray has a nice speedometer which is triangular in shape and triangular fuel meter below speedometer. Helmet can be easily fitted in the under the seat. Another attractive part of this scooter is its different colors which made it more appealing to gals.
