Applications have been invited for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2012 for admission to degree and post graduate courses of private and Government Institutions affiliated to Gautam Budh Technical University (formally known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University), Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University, Noida, along with some other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh for the academic session 2012-2013. The examination UPSEE 2012 is being conducted by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.
UPSEE 2012 PG Eligibility
Master of Business Administration: The candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree Course of three years duration from any of the recognized Indian University. The General Category and OBC candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 40% marks without any grace marks and SC/ST candidates must have clearly passed without any grace marks with 35% aggregate marks.
Master of Computer Application: The candidate must be a Graduate from any of the recognized University in India with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or in Graduation. The General and OBC candidates must have obtained 40% aggregate marks without any grace marks and SC/ST candidates 35% marks in an aggregate.
UPSEE 2012 Exam Pattern for PG Courses
The exam would consist of objective type questions for both the MBA and MCA courses. The exam duration would be of 2 hours each for MBA and MCA. Every correctly answered question will carry four marks. There will be no negative marking. Test areas for MBA exam include 100 questions each on English Language, Numerical Aptitude, Thinking and Decision Making and General Awareness. Test areas of MCA exam include Mathematics, Logical Ability and Statistics.
Online Application Form Procedure for UPSEE PG 2012
Application to PG courses in MBA and MCA can be made online through the official website http://uptu.ac.in or http://upsee.nic.in or http://www.mtu.ac.in . The online applications can be posted from 10:00 am 28 February 2012 to 10:00 pm 22 March 2012. After duly filling and reviewing the application form, the candidate needs to submit the application form online. The system will generate a registration number upon successful submission of the application form. This registration number should be kept by the candidate for all future reference.
The examination fees can be paid through bank Challan or Online Internet banking/credit/debit card. If you want to make the payment through bank Challan the link is provided from which you can download e-challan in triplicate. The application fee is to be deposited in the designated bank branches. The bank will provide a transaction number. You have to again visit the website http://uptu.ac.in or http://upsee.nic.in or http://www.mtu.ac.in and click the link “Pay the Examination Fees”. You have to fill the registration number and transaction number to generate the confirmation page. For making payment through Online banking /credit/debit card click on the appropriate link, make the payment and generate the confirmation page. Now you have to take the printout of the confirmation page, paste your recent passport size photograph, put your signature and left hand thumb impression and signature of parent/guardian on the space provided. Also you have to write your mailing address, contact number at the space provided on the confirmation page. You have to post the confirmation page along with copy of challan (if payment has been done through bank challan) so as to reach the following address:
