Review of Desi Boyz: One Time Entertainment Watch

The Duo of “Garam Masala” is back again with new spice. Being praised for the exclusive and mindblowing chemistry in the movie Garam Masala both Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are back with their new movie “Desi Boyz”. The movie releases today with much expectation from the duo.

Directed by Rohit Dhawan son of comedy king David Dhawan made his debut with the A rated film. Desi Boyz is based on the concept of male escorts who because of need of money at the time of recession switch to male escorts serving the girls.

Storyline: Starring Akshay Kumar as Jerry Patel and John Abraham (Nick Mathur), the movie revolves round two friends living in London one having a job of security guards while the other is a banker. Both are living the lavish life but with the money of Nick who also has a fiancée Radhika (Deepika Padukone). But the sudden recession causes both to lose their respective jobs.

With the paucity of money and unable to fulfill the daily needs and bringing back the nephew Veer from the foster home both hunt for a new job but at last finds no other solution than becoming the male escorts been driven by Sanjay Dutt who has its own company “ Desi Boyz”.

Will Radhika who loves Nick the most; accept him after knowing the reality? Or what will be the reaction of Veer after realizing the current profession of his uncle will be uncovered after watching the movie.

The chemistry between both again wins the heart and the fun quotient of the film makes never boring. It seems from the film that Rohit Dhawan has cleverly inherited the craft of fun making from his father and has presented the show in best way he can.

The perfect comic-timing between Akshay kumar and John and subsequent sexiest ever chemistry between Akshay-Chitrangada makes Desi Boyz a spicy watch. Music given by Pritam makes it further entertaining with songs like title track, jhak maar ke and raat hone na de which are at the top on the playlist of listeners.

Overall, residing on a new concept Desi Boyz is a worth entertaining movie with good comic essence and but obvious vulgarity too. We give the movie 3 star rating.***
