New Car Skoda Rapid Launched In India

Skoda, a Czech car making Company has marked its firm presence in the Indian markets. Skoda India launched its new c-segment Sedan Skoda Rapid yesterday 16th November. The car made its debut in the Indian market just after the nine days of production at Chakan plant.

The car is available in both petrol and diesel variants. With superior quality design and exclusive features tailor made for the Indian market, Skoda Rapid is tagged at a starting price of Rs. 6.75 lakhs (New Delhi ex showroom price) for the base Petrol variant and goes up to Rs 9.19 lakhs for the top Diesel spec model.

Exteriors: Skoda Rapid holds an attractive design, ample space, excellent safety equipment and modern proven technology. Looking the car at the first glance, the sedan impresses with its elite and slick design. Car has muscular exterior lines and body-colored mirrors positioned optimally. The Multi-Point Injection 1.6 L Petrol Engine delivers 105 BHP (77 kW) of peak power and a peak torque of 153 Nm at an easy 3800 rpm. While the Turbocharged Common Rail 1.6 L Diesel Engine produces 105 BHP (77 kW) of power and an exciting torque of 250 Nm from 1500 rpm to 2500 rpm, making it one of the most powerful diesel engines on the road in its segment.
