After the blockbuster movie “Jannat” Starring Emraan Hashmi as a leading actor and Sonal Chauhan as leading actress. Mahesh Bhatt soon going to release its sequel of “Jannat” and named the new movie as “Jannat 2” but in the new sequel Mahesh Bhatt is not repeating its “Jannat” Star cast Expect Mahesh Bhatt’s Favorite Emraan Hashmi is still there in “Jannat 2” and Prachi Desai was signed on to play the female lead opposite Hashmi but later she was replaced by Esha Gupta because Prachi Desai was not comfortable with it and also director Kunal Deshmukh felt Desai could not fit the part of being bold and sensual.
Kunal Deshmukh believe Esha Gupta the former Miss India International who has also graced the Kingfisher calendar twice, will be the best fitted with Emraan. This is the era of sequel everyone is busy in making the sequel of their existing hit like we have seen so many recent successful sequel like “Don 2”, Golmaal 3” ,”Murdar 2” and many others. This gives the advantage of marketing to the production house and somehow sequel also reduces the risk of failure because there might be chances people would watch the sequel as they have watched the existing release.

Jannat 2 is again criminal thrill but in this sequel Emraan is not involve in any cricket match fixings. He plays an illegal arms dealer who makes an easy buck selling arms, but with the law close on his trail.
