Maruti Suzuki A-Star Aktiv Limited Time Edition

The largest car manufacturer of India, Maruti Suzuki is in the news yet again. And this time it is for the launch of limited edition variants for Maruti Suzuki A-Star. Named as A-Star Aktiv, this limited edition is available in Vxi and Vxi AT variants.

These variants come with an additional 14 new and exciting features which have been valued at Rs. 14990. A-Star Aktiv Vxi has a base price tag of Rs. 4.22 lakh while the Maruti Suzuki A-Star Aktiv Vxi AT variant comes at a base price tag of Rs. 4.73 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

Though being a flagship export model, the A-Star hatchback hasn’t performed well on the sales front. Maruti sold less than a thousand units of the A-Star last month. It’s high pricing and low interior space had not gone in its favor. So to boost up sales, Maruti has launched the limited time edition of A-Star Aktiv fitted with 14 new and exciting features.

According to Maruti Suzuki sources the A-Star Aktiv has been “packed with features that will complement the young generation’s personality”. Maruti claims, “The stylish modifications in the A-star Aktiv are in line with our plans to offer our young and energetic customers a sleeker, more stylish and feature packed A-star. We are confident that this special edition will bring pride to select owners who possess it”.

The A-Star Aktiv limited edition includes 14 new and attractive additions in the exterior and as well as in the interiors. The A-Star Aktiv exteriors get attractive graphics on the roof, side, front, and rear. Plus you have red bumper, red spoiler, red colored rear view mirrors, fog lamp, off-set racing stripe and blackened out B-Pillar.

While in the A-Star Aktiv interiors, you have new seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel cover, keyless entry, door sill guard, and rear parcel shelf. All these 14 additional features and accessories of A-Star Aktiv come at a price tag of Rs.14990.

However, there are no changes on the technical front as Maruti Suzuki A-Star Aktiv is still being powered by the 998CC, K10B, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that churns out a power of 67PS. Further it delivers fuel efficiency of 19 kmpl.

With all these 14 exciting additional features, Maruti Suzuki A-Star Aktiv is all set to challenge its competitors and attract the Indian car buyers in a big way.
