Mahindra Quanto A Compact SUV

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has unveils its first compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) on 20th September 2012. Mahindra Quanto price ranges from Rs. 5.82 Lakhs to Rs 7.36 Lakhs. With such a price Mahindra Quanto is a great competition for recently launched Renault Duster and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Mahindra Quanto has been launched in four variants all are Diesel C2, C4, C6 and C8. It is built on Ingenio platform on which Mahindra Xylo is also built. Mahindra Quanto has an engine displacement of 1493cc with maximum power and torque of 73.5kw (100BHP)@3750RPM and 240Nm@1600-2800RPM respectively. Quanto has 5 Speed transmissions with indirect shift.

Mahindra Quanto is well built in both exteriors and interiors. The grill in the front with signature of Mahindra gives it violent looks from the front. It is not like other SUV it has vigorous and hard design making it different from all other SUV. Like all other Mahindra SUV’s Quanto also has a stylish rear stepney.

Mahindra Quanto is built on Micro Hybrid Technology, this technology helps to conserve fuel as it let the car in to a standby mode when you make the car neutral mode automatically after 2.5 seconds and starts as you use clutch. This helps a lot to save fuel and increase the efficiency of the car.

Mahindra Quanto interiors are beautifully designed with elegant looks and complete comfort. Quanto is a seven seater car; last seats are for kids only. The driver seat is positioned a bit high for full visibility, it is built on granite theme giving an elegant look. Quanto has all the safety features required for a car like dual front airbags, front fog lamps, Intellipark reverse assist, child lock on rear and middle door, rear washer and Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake Distribution.
