Bajaj Auto is in news yet again. And this time around it is for the launch of the new version of Kawasaki Ninja 650R sports bike in India. The much awaited Japanese motorbike has been finally launched by Bajaj and it would be available at a price tag of INR 4,99,835 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Indian manufacturers Probiking Dealership has already started accepting the bookings for Kawasaki Ninja 650R and its deliveries would begin from the next month onwards. Presently there are 62 KTM-Kawasaki dealers for premium bikes in India.

Kawasaki Ninja 650R is the third premium sports model to be introduced in India by Bajaj Auto. The earlier ones being Kawasaki Ninja 250R and KTM 200 Duke. The initial version of Kawasaki Ninja 650R was launched in India in June 2011. As of date, Bajaj has sold more than 3000 Ninja bikes since its launch in 2009.

The new Kawasaki Ninja 650R is all set to compete with the likes of Korean Hyosung 650 N and Duke 200 in the superbike segment. Talking about its features and specifications the new Kawasaki Ninja 650R has got a powerful 649cc engine which delivers out a power of 71.07 bhp. The sports bike comes with a revised suspension, an adjustable windshield, and with a split seat.

The overall aero-dynamic designing is just superb with a much sharper look, a new exhaust, a new instrument cluster, a taller tank and a revised suspension setup. All-in-all the new Kawasaki Ninja 650R justifies its sports-tourer tag.
