Honda Motorcycle, the Japanese Auto Giant, is keen to make it big in the Indian two-wheeler market. It is gearing itself to take on the competition from the likes of Hero MotoCorp and is aiming to become the largest two-wheeler manufacture in India. With this aim, Honda has launched a new 100-110cc segment bike named as Honda Dream Neo. It is the latest commuter bike from Honda Motorcycle and comes as the most affordable bike from the company.
Honda Dream Neo is another Dream Motorcycle and resembles the earlier launched Dream bike, the Honda Dream Yuga. The Honda Dream Neo comes as the cheapest bike in the commuter segment from the company and would be available at a price tag of Rs. 43, 150 (ex-showroom Delhi). The ‘Dream’ series bike would be available in six dual tone colors such as black with violet stripes, Black and red stripes, Alpha Red Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Monsoon Grey Metallic, and Force Silver Metallic.
The Dream Neo gets the same 109cc Engine as that of Dream Yuga but has been a little bit de-tuned in order to produce better efficiency and mileage. The 109cc, 4-stroke engine gives out a power of 8.4PS and a torque of 8.63Nm. The bike comes with the patented Honda Eco Technology and as claimed by the company would deliver a superb mileage of 74kmpl (approx).
The Honda Dream Neo has been specially designed catering the requirements of the customers for the commuter segment bike. The new “Dream” bike includes features such as wide handle bar, long suspension travel, comfortable seating, supports upright posture for seating, and much more.
The Honda Dream Neo comes with tubeless tyres, viscous and maintenance free air filter, wheelbase of 1258 mm and a ground clearance of 179 mm, alloy wheels having six spokes, a powerful battery, circular designed meter console, headlight with diamond shaped, drum brakes, together with other features, as well. The bike is aimed towards rider comfort with its 5-step rear suspension, and diamond frame of a single tube.
