Ahead of the League: Honda CBR250R is a 250cc specially designed sports bike with more torque at lower engine speeds, i.e. It is easier to accelerate from low speed and pulling away required less noise and drama than other sports bike like Ninja and Karizma.
Impressive Looks: Inspired from VFR 1200R, the bike has an amazing design which attracts eyes of everyone and gives a complete look of racing bikes with heavy built and Y-shaped headlight and prominent middle cowl, which creates a layered look. The silver coated instrument panel with blue color LCD backlight gives it a futuristic look and design.
The honeycomb shaped backlight also adds aesthetics and improves light distribution performance of the bike.
Wheels and Braking System: CBR250R sports 5 spoke aluminum cast wheels with H-shaped section and tubeless tyres further enhancing the design and its new Anti- lock braking system (ABS) feature (optional) helps in making perfect stops. With this technology wheels get a distributed braking force to both front and rear tyres and its anti-lock brake system prevents wheel locking at hard conditions.
Inside of the Bike: The engine of the bike is kept light and compact to give it a smooth. It has a liquid cooled 4 stroke SI engine with 249cc displacement that produces a net power of 25bhp@ 8500rpm and torque of 22.9Nm@7000rpm.
Its six speed constant mesh with 1 down and 5 up gear pattern gives it a fastest of speeds with unmatchable control. The bike comes in 3 two color tone variants namely candy ruby Red with accurate silver metallic, sword silver metallic with accurate silver metallic and asteroid Black metallic with accurate silver metallic.
Specifications
Overall the bike stands ahead of the sports class and gives the average fuel economy of about 30kmpl in city roads. Comparing with the price of other 250cc bikes it is fairer than Hero Honda Karizma ZMR which costs Rs 91,000/- but cheaper than Ninja 250.
