Looking at the requirement of Windows 8 interface Dell has announced this XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook. The Ultrabook has a feature that it can used as a laptop when required and can be converted into a tablet by flipping it all around as a tablet or notebook. Folding and flipping is very easy done.
The screen size of Dell XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook is 12.5 inches full HD capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. The Ultrabook is made off with a corning Gorilla Glass, carbon and aluminum body. The starting weight of this device is just 1.54kgs.
Hardware, XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook is built on 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 Processor or 3rd Generation Intel Core i7 Processor and memory of either 4 GB Dual channel or 8 GB Dual channel. It supports up to total hard drive of 256 GB Solid State. It also has a video card of Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Dell XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook also has a webcam of 1.3 mega pixels.
XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook has a battery of 6 Cell Lithium Ion battery which can work up to 47 hours. It also has wireless connectivity Intel smart connect technology, Intel wireless display and Bluetooth 3.0.
It also has all the required port that a laptop has in it. Based on Windows 8 has made it very easy as Windows 8 is liked and accepted widely by the people here in India.
The starting price of XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook is Rs 91000/-. It is also available in easy EMI’s. The price according to the XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook is not so high and not so low.
