Tata Motors India’s largest automobile company renovated its most innovated car Tata Nano with enhanced features and powerful mileage. Seeing the sluggish sales this year Company required something new to increase the market demand and sales of the car.
On 21st November, 2011 Tata Motors announced the new version of Tata Nano with number of new features but have kept the price same as before. The features added are like new colors, new interiors, a more powerful gasoline engine and even greater fuel efficiency of 25.4 kmpl. Price of Nano starts from Rs.1.40 lakhs and goes up to Rs.1.96 lakhs (Delhi ex-showroom).
New Features of Tata Nano
Exterior Looks: As such the core look of the car is being kept the same but there some minor improvements like new wheel caps, high ground clearance, Tip Tap mirrors. But now you have a large number of color variants to choose from your favorite color. Now Tata Nano comes in 10 color variants Pearl White, Rouge Red, Aqua Blue, Neon Rush, Serene White, Meteor Silver, Mojito Green, Papaya Orange, Sunshine Yellow, and Champagne Gold.
Interiors: High stress is given on improving the interiors of the car to give it a premium look. The interiors are kept of different shades for 3 model variants like luxurious beige in the Nano LX, rich black in the Nano CX and stunning medium graphite in the Standard version.
Engine: Car’s 624cc engine has been made more powerful and now delivers an impressive 38PS of power (earlier 35 PS) and 51Nm of torque (earlier 48 Nm). Fuel efficiency of the car has also been improved and it reached to a new high of 25.4 kmpl (earlier 23.6 kmpl). Nano also has the lowest CO2 emission among cars in India.
Now the car gives 4m turning radius for easy maneuvering and a top speed of 105kmph making your driving experience more exciting and powerful. Noise reduction is made and the steering mechanism is also improved to provide easy and quiet drive.
The three variants Tata Nano Standard, Tata Nano CX and Tata Nano LX comprise different features and prices and are available at the Indian market.
